Takeshiba Pier

Takeshiba Passenger Ship Terminal is the gateway to the Izu and Ogasawara Islands.
Take a walk along the Takeshiba Deck boardwalk and enjoy the sea breeze. The huge sail rising above the central plaza is a local landmark, modeled after the mast of the sailing ship Nippon Maru.

Hinode Pier

Hinode Pier is a departure point for Tokyo Bay cruises and water buses.  There are also stylish restaurants where you can enjoy a meal while taking in views of Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Port.

Elevated Walkways Connecting the Stations

The Hamamatsucho and Daimon area is connected to the Takeshiba area by modern elevated walkways. Near Hamamatsucho Station, you can look out over the Kyu-Shiba-rikyu Gardens.
Close to Takeshiba Station on the Yurikamome Line is the Tokyo Portcity Takeshiba Office Tower. Its lower levels feature the “Skip Terrace,” a unique series of tiered green terraces.

WATERS Takeshiba

On the west side of Takeshiba Passenger Ship Terminal, closer to Hamamatsucho Station, is WATERS Takeshiba, a commercial and entertainment complex.
It is home to Takeshiba’s luxury hotel, mesm Tokyo, as well as the JR-EAST Shiki Theatre. There is even a tidal flat along the waterfront, with Hama-rikyu Gardens just across the water.

Foodie’s Delight

I had lunch at an Italian restaurant inside the terminal building at Hinode Pier. You can enjoy delicious food at very reasonable prices.
And when the weather is nice, a terrace seat overlooking the water is just perfect!
Foodie, satisfied!
