Canada in the middle of Tokyo’s town? No, surprisingly, it’s Mizumoto-koen Park in Tokyo. In search of autumn foliage, the Noripy exploration team embarked on a new territory. We enjoyed the serenity of the sky, trees, and the chirping of birds in this healing space.

Mizumoto-koen Park

This is Mizumoto-koen Park in Katsushika Ward, Tokyo! Not in Hokkaido.
The view of the trees brought back fond memories of Noripy’s first overseas stay, Vancouver, Canada, over 45 years ago.

Autumn Leaves

No explanation is needed, right? They turn red and yellow. Whether you see them from afar or up close, they make you feel the essence of autumn.
Noripy loves red, especially maple leaves.

Wetland Stroll

There is a large pond that’s so vast it could be mistaken for a lake, and on the other hand, there are pathways woven through the wetlands.
Various plants and creatures inhabit this area. During the summer, it’s likely that even more wetland plants thrive.

Sky, Waterfowl

The tranquility is wonderful.
The chirping of birds is soothing to the heart.

Various Aspects of the Park

There are sculptures that convey strength. The sound of the flowing water from the waterfall is also soothing. In the central square, wedding anniversary photoshoots were taking place. Along the water’s edge, you can find people listening to nostalgic music, others visiting for a leisurely dog walk, and a variety of ways to enjoy the park.

Bench

Deep in thought, Noripy contemplates.
Ah, being able to just space out without thinking about anything, that’s the greatest happiness. Ahhh…

Park at Dusk

As the shadows grow longer, it’s almost dusk.
The colors of the sunset are beautiful.

Foodie’s Delight!

A foodie, stumbled upon a charming cloud formation by chance. What do you think of when you see this shape?
Noripy imagined ‘cotton candy blowing in the wind.’ So, this time, it’s ‘cotton candy floating in the sky at Mizumoto-koen Park’ for a foodie’s delight!
