Welcome to Tokyo! Haneda Airport is the sky gateway to Tokyo. Looking down at Tokyo from above, you have arrived here at Haneda. Just moments ago, you left behind your everyday life and soared into the sky, wrapped in a sense of liberation, arriving in Tokyo, Japan, a new cultural world. Congratulations on your long journey! With high expectations for new encounters, countless tourists arrive at Haneda Airport every day.
Haneda Airport
No matter how old you get, doesn’t the idea of flying still excite you? When the Noripy Explorers visited, Haneda Airport was running an inbound welcome campaign called “Foodies Love Tokyo.”
Edo Atmosphere
An airport terminal where you can fully experience the feeling of arriving in Japan, with stages incorporating the design of shrine torii gates and souvenir shops evoking the image of Edo-era town shopping streets.
Rest Area:
When it comes to Japanese tea, green tea is the go-to choice. And powdered matcha has now become a worldwide sensation. If you’re looking to take a break within the airport, why not relax at a rest area where you can enjoy matcha and traditional Japanese sweets?
Natural Hot Springs
Believe it or not, there’s a natural hot spring directly connected to the airport. Introducing “Izumi Tenku no Yu,” a spa where you can enjoy an open-air bath while watching airplanes takeoff and landing. Even if your scheduled flight suddenly gets cancelled, relax leisurely in the hot springs and wait for the next available flight. Please enter from the entrance of Hotel Villa Fontaine. Of course, it’s available for use even if you’re not a guest of the hotel.
Japanese Souvenirs
There are plenty of souvenir shops here as well. From stylish trinkets to authentic samurai armor and helmets, just browsing is enjoyable.
Fuji-shaped Omikuji
It’s an omikuji in the shape of Mount Fuji. It’s adorable even as a decoration. The Noripy Explorers decided to peek at their fortunes for this year and bought one. When the three members opened it together, it read “Daikichi” (Great Luck). Yay!
Haneda Airport Garden
Directly connected to the newest Terminal 3 is the Haneda Airport Garden. It’s a stylish yet spacious area, with even a Noh theater stage set up.
Foodie’s Delight!
This time, we enjoyed oyakodon (chicken and egg rice bowl) and yakitori-don (grilled chicken rice bowl) at a chicken specialty shop. These are already Noripy’s favorite dishes, but they were truly delicious this time.
Foodie, satisfied!
